Key Qualifications:
- Certified or eligible for certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Experience in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify students’ strengths and support needs
- Interpret evaluation results and provide recommendations for student services
- Offer direct counseling and intervention services to students individually or in small groups
- Work closely with teachers and staff to monitor progress and provide strategies that foster student success
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 plans, and behavioral intervention plans
- Serve as a resource for supporting positive mental health and behavior in the school community
