Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ growth and success as a full-time, onsite school psychologist for a PreK caseload. Working within a dynamic educational setting, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to nurture students’ emotional and academic development.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid and current license or certification to practice as a school psychologist
- Experience working with young children, especially PreK-age groups
- Knowledge of and ability to administer a variety of diagnostic, cognitive, and social-emotional assessments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite in a collaborative, school-based environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services including assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention for PreK students
- Conduct formal and informal evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, or social-emotional support needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies as part of the IEP/504 process
- Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments
- Monitor student progress and adjust supports as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise in early childhood developmental needs
