Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements met or eligible)
- Experience with elementary and/or middle school-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and school needs
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for students in elementary and middle school
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to identify student needs and develop interventions
- Deliver individual and group counseling services
- Participate in the development and monitoring of IEPs and behavior plans
- Support the implementation of social-emotional learning initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines
