Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological assessments, interventions, and support in educational settings
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective strategies for student success
- Excellent communication, report writing, and organizational skills
- For the full-time role: previous experience with pre-school aged populations and/or evaluation teams preferred
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply for the evaluation team position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using standardized assessment tools
- Develop and implement behavioral and academic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP reviews and eligibility discussions
- Provide consultation and expertise to educators and parents on a range of student concerns, from learning difficulties to social-emotional welfare
- Advocate for students’ well-being, championing interventions that foster a positive school climate
- For the evaluation team: facilitate screening and assessment for pre-schoolers, collaborating closely with early childhood professionals
