Spanning the academic year from August 2026 to May 2027, this full-time position offers 35-37.5 hours each week in a collaborative school environment. Some hybrid work flexibility may be considered, although the primary expectation is onsite services.
Qualifications:
- Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement required
- Previous experience serving PreK-8 students is highly desired
- Comfortable managing varied caseloads and adapting to different grade levels
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations, assessments, and recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals to create and implement effective interventions
- Conduct individual and group counseling as needed
- Participate in the development and review of IEPs
- Offer crisis intervention and consult on behavioral/mental health needs
- Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
