The assignment runs from August 2026 through May 2027 and provides exposure to diverse student populations and multi-tiered support systems.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid PEL with School Psychologist endorsement (required)
- Previous experience as a school psychologist in a PreK-8 setting highly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
- Willingness and ability to work with any grade level, as caseload will be determined
- Knowledge of special education processes, assessments, and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement academic and behavioral interventions
- Facilitate and participate in IEP, eligibility, and parent meetings as needed
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families
- Support crisis intervention, social-emotional learning, and positive school climate initiatives
- Document services and maintain compliance with all state and federal guidelines
