Take your expertise in school psychology to a vibrant PreK-8 setting, where you’ll deliver impactful support as a valued professional working with students, staff, and families. This full-time, onsite contract assignment offers the flexibility of some hybrid work and spans from August 2026 through May 2027. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Experience working with PreK-8 grade levels, or willingness to serve all ages
- Bilingual Spanish abilities are especially encouraged, but not required
- Proven capacity for assessment, intervention, data-driven consultation, and collaboration
- Comfortable adapting to varying caseloads and working with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and commitment to positive student outcomes
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments in accordance with district policy and best practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs and recommend interventions
- Provide direct counseling and crisis support as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all federal, state, and district requirements
- Participate in eligibility and other student support meetings
