Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas LSSP licensure required
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and report writing skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborative spirit and effective communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and recommend supports
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive educational outcomes
- Deliver staff and parent training on relevant mental health concerns and support strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and other student-focused planning
