As an essential member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in conducting thorough evaluations for Special Education eligibility, supporting students’ success and well-being. The role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year, offering you the chance to be a key resource from day one.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina School Psychologist License
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in educational settings
- Skill in conducting assessments for Specific Learning Disability using the PSW model
- Ability to assess for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations for Special Education eligibility
- Utilize a variety of tools and strategies to assess a broad spectrum of student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement student support plans
- Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to share results and guide interventions
- Provide recommendations and support for student mental health and academic growth
