Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in school psychology to provide essential psychological services within a vibrant K-12 educational setting. This full-time, contract opportunity entails working 37.5 hours per week onsite, serving a diverse student community and supporting their academic and social-emotional growth. You’ll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to deliver thorough evaluations and assessments, shaping individualized support plans that foster student success.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments and evaluations in K-12 environments
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to promoting a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Provide recommendations based on assessment results to guide interventions and supports
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to address students’ diverse needs
- Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide actionable insights for student planning
- Offer crisis intervention and consultation as needed within the school community
This is an onsite only position, ensuring strong relationships and hands-on involvement with students and staff.
