Key Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana DOE School Psychologist Certification required
- Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
- Ability to fulfill district credentialing requirements, including drug screening and fingerprinting
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and multiple school assignments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility for educational services
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes
- Provide consultation and support for crisis interventions within the school community
- Maintain comprehensive records in compliance with state and district regulations
