Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 grade levels preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and MTSS/RTI processes
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational programming and interventions
- Participate actively in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and contribute to positive student outcomes
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to support students’ mental health and academic engagement
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for supportive problem-solving and resource sharing across grade levels
- Offer crisis intervention and develop proactive strategies for school-wide well-being
- Serve schools throughout the county, adapting to the unique needs of each campus
