You’ll play a key role in developing intervention strategies, participating in IEP meetings, and helping students navigate school challenges. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage cases, and create supportive, inclusive atmospheres will be highly valued.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Nevada licensure as a School Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and evaluation procedures
- Excellent skills in assessment, counseling, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to in-person service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Participate actively in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
- Deliver counseling and behavioral interventions to students
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student support
- Maintain accurate, timely records and compliance with district and state guidelines
