School Psychologist | Hingham, Massachusetts
Make a significant impact supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position focuses on leading a collaborative team at the elementary level, ensuring each student receives the support they need for academic and emotional success. You will guide and facilitate IEP meetings as the Team Chair, manage an elementary caseload, and work closely with staff and families to foster a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to chair and coordinate multidisciplinary team meetings
- Strong background in educational assessments and report writing
- Effective communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with state and federal special education regulations
- Comfortable working onsite; virtual-only options not available for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as Team Chair, leading and running IEP meetings for elementary students
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Provide expert input and recommendations to support student learning and development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service staff to develop and monitor individualized plans
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and reports
- Support a positive school climate and deliver crisis intervention as needed
