Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Familiarity with educational testing, Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and Response to Intervention (RTI) approaches
- Excellent communication, compassion, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help design individualized supports and interventions
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students in need
- Consult with teachers and families to promote students’ academic and social success
- Interpret assessment data for staff and parents, offering clear recommendations
- Support school-wide initiatives addressing mental health and positive behavior
- Maintain records and documentation consistent with district and state policies
