Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting preferred
- Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and assessment tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in student services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, providing guidance and recommendations that support individualized student needs
- Develop and help implement evidence-based intervention strategies addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a positive, supportive educational environment
- Maintain detailed, confidential records and ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards
- Offer crisis intervention and consultation services as needed
