Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Current, valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, interpreting data, and creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI), 504 plans, and special education laws preferred
- Practical experience in a school-based setting is strongly desired
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments
- Participate in eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative mental health services to students
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to develop strategies and supports
- Document findings and maintain accurate case records in compliance with regulatory standards
