Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services.
- Interpret assessment data and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns.
- Develop and implement behavioral interventions and support plans.
- Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
Qualifications
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for supporting student success through data-driven interventions.
