Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Proficient in psycho-educational testing, behavioral assessments, and IEP development
- Familiarity with current special education laws and practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Interpret assessment results and provide written recommendations for interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Develop and monitor individualized support plans
- Promote positive behavioral supports and restorative practices across the school community
