Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing school-based psychological services
- Strong skills in counseling, assessments, and crisis intervention
- Ability to interpret educational and psychological assessments
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Interpret assessment results and help develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for student success
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams, staff meetings, and problem-solving teams
- Provide crisis management and intervention as needed
- Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential student records
