School Psychologist in Irmo, SC

Work onsite in a supportive school environment, or join remotely in a virtual capacity, for a contract position with a full-time, 37.5-hour workweek during the school year from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Multiple positions are available, serving a diverse caseload of students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in school psychology required
- State certification as a School Psychologist
- At least two years’ experience as a school psychologist intern or equivalent training and experience
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including administration and scoring of ability, achievement, and behavioral assessments
- Strong collaborative and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with teachers, parents, administrators, and outside agencies
- Comfortable working with both onsite and virtual tools and processes
- Physical and cognitive ability to handle data analysis, report preparation, and a range of interpersonal interactions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological and educational assessments and prepare reports for referred students
- Provide counseling and mental health services to individual students and groups
- Participate and consult on multidisciplinary assessment and placement committees; contribute to developing IEPs
- Collaborate with staff and families to develop strategies that promote students’ academic, behavioral, and mental health success
- Assist in crisis management and intervention at school and district level
- Maintain required documentation, reports, and student records
- Stay current on trends, laws, and best practices in the field
