What you’ll bring:
- Master's degree in School Psychology required, plus at least two years of experience as a school psychology intern (or an equivalent blend of training and experience)
- Current state certification as a School Psychologist
- Thorough command of psychoeducational assessment, counseling techniques, and relevant federal and state regulations
- Proficiency in conducting individualized psychological assessments and preparing comprehensive, accurate reports
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, foster partnerships, and communicate findings to diverse audiences
- Keen organizational and data analysis skills, statistical aptitude, and attention to detail
- Comfort using technology for reports, communication, and test scoring
- Ability to adapt in high-stress or emergency situations, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines
What you’ll do:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for special education services
- Provide mental health services, including individual and group counseling
- Consult with teachers, parents, and outside professionals to promote academic and social success for all students
- Participate in student assessment teams, IEP development, and crisis management programs
- Stay current with developments and innovations in the field of school psychology
- Prepare and maintain meticulous documentation for assessments, meetings, and Medicaid reimbursement
