Bring your expertise in school psychology to a rewarding, full-time contract assignment supporting multiple campuses in the Plano area. This impactful role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing critical psychological services and evaluations to students and collaborating with educators, families, and administrators.
In this role, you will:
- Attend Student Support Team (SST) and Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
- Obtain informed consent and manage the process for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments per district and state guidelines
- Maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with all deadlines and requirements
- Serve as an evaluation case manager, overseeing the assessment process from consent through results review
- Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, campus leadership, and families
- Travel regularly between approximately 3–4 assigned campuses, providing onsite-only support
- Balance multiple evaluations and responsibilities in a fast-paced school environment
We are seeking candidates with:
- An active Texas School Psychologist License
- Solid, recent experience working in a school-based setting
- Proven experience in conducting Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
- Outstanding organization and multitasking abilities, with a commitment to thorough, timely documentation
- Dependable transportation to facilitate travel between locations
- Ability to work exclusively onsite (remote work is not available)
