This full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule—ideally, three days spent onsite with your students and colleagues and two days working remotely. Situated near Jefferson, SC, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple age groups and academic environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Credentialed as a School Psychologist with appropriate state licensure
- Experience working within school settings, supporting preschool, elementary, and high school populations
- Strong proficiency in assessment, counseling, and consultation services for diverse student needs
- Excellent collaboration skills with educators, administrators, and families
- Comfort navigating both in-person and virtual platforms for delivering services
- Adaptability to work with varying caseloads and a range of student needs
- Effective communicator with strong organizational and reporting skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psycho-educational assessments for students across multiple school levels
- Develop intervention strategies, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support academic and emotional success
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with regulations
- Support social-emotional learning initiatives and school-wide programs
- Balance on-site and remote responsibilities to provide comprehensive student support
