Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology is required
- Prior experience working in a school setting (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Background providing assessment, consultation, and direct intervention for pediatric populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt and contribute within multidisciplinary teams
- License and certifications applicable per state regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ social-emotional and behavioral goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to implement intervention strategies
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed within the school environment
- Maintain thorough documentation and keep records in compliance with school and legal requirements
