Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) for the state
- Demonstrated experience working with PreK–12 students
- Skilled in performing assessments, counseling, and providing behavioral interventions
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students across grade levels
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis support as needed for students
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to guide student progress and strategies
- Track and document all assessments, interventions, and student progress reports in a timely manner
- Help build positive learning environments to foster student wellbeing and achievement
