Step into a meaningful contract role providing support to elementary learners as a school psychologist from January 5, 2027, through May 28, 2027. Enjoy a balanced workweek, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., with a guaranteed 37.5 hours and a paid lunch daily.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed or credentialed as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in elementary education, especially with K-5 students
- Knowledge of and comfort with Autism self-contained programs and diverse student needs
- Strong skills in conducting assessments and writing reports
- Ability to collaborate effectively with IEP teams and various educational professionals
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students
- Participate actively in IEP evaluation meetings and provide input on student supports
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and parents to develop appropriate interventions
- Deliver counseling and behavioral supports, including for students within the Autism program
- Use data-driven decisions to aid in student success and wellbeing
- Maintain confidential documentation in compliance with policies and procedures
