Qualifications:
- Valid certification in School Psychology for grades P-12 is required
- Commitment to a full-time schedule for the entire academic year
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Adaptable to a variety of school settings and student populations
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Open to candidates willing to travel for work
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to support student learning needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create effective intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of personalized education plans
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support services for students
- Maintain confidential and thorough documentation of all services provided
- Stay up to date with best practices in school psychology and special education
