Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or closely related field required
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license
- Experience providing psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation services in elementary, middle, and high schools
- Strong knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and effective behavioral interventions
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to manage caseloads and maintain detailed documentation in alignment with state and district policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop individualized intervention and support plans for students in collaboration with teachers, families, and administrators
- Consult with school teams to implement evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support during challenging situations
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Deliver professional development and guidance to staff on best practices in mental health and student support
