This contract opportunity begins August 12, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027, focusing on comprehensive psychological evaluation and support for students with significant needs, including those who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or using assistive technology for communication.
You'll play a pivotal part in evaluating and supporting diverse learners, helping to ensure students receive the specialized attention and resources they need to succeed. This position provides the opportunity to work across multiple sites, collaborating closely with administrators, teachers, and support staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with intensive support needs
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments for students with significant disabilities
- Familiarity with assistive technology devices and nontraditional communication methods
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Compassionate, adaptable, and resourceful approach when working with complex student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with intense needs, including non-verbal or physically impaired learners
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Engage in direct consultation with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Maintain detailed records and provide timely reporting as required
- Travel between campus sites within the district to support student needs
