In this travel School Psychologist opportunity, your skills will be instrumental in conducting evaluations for students with intense disabilities, including those who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or communicate through assistive technology devices. Flexible assignments may involve travel between multiple campus sites throughout the district.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state-specific: or eligibility in Kansas)
- Experience working with K-12 students, especially those with significant disabilities
- Familiarity with and ability to implement and interpret assessment tools, including those for students using AT devices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with diverse populations preferred
- Willingness to travel between multiple school sites as assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs
- Consult with educators and families to support students’ individualized needs
- Perform on-site testing and report findings
- Support students across public and nonpublic settings as part of a district-wide effort
