Exciting contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic, collaborative school environment near Keller, TX! Skilled School Psychologists are needed for an on-site, itinerant role across five campuses—predominantly elementary, with some middle school responsibilities. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about comprehensive student support through evaluations and targeted services related to Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD. The assignment is set to begin August 10, 2026, and will continue through May 21, 2027, offering a stable academic-year schedule at 35 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or an Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologist
- Previous experience delivering services in a school setting is highly preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a strong asset
- Able to complete and/or verify fingerprints through the Texas Education Agency (TEA); allow up to 10 business days for processing
- Strong organizational skills—comfortable managing responsibilities in an itinerant model across multiple campuses
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for AU, ED, OHI (including ADHD)
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students and school staff
- Lead and develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Support special education teams in the development and implementation of IEPs
- Serve as a resource for students, families, and faculty, providing expertise on behavior, disability, and social-emotional development
