What You'll Need:
- Active state license as a School Psychologist
- Certification in School Psychology
- Experience working with Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School populations
- Familiarity with assessment tools, behavioral intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and consultation skills for partnering with parents, teachers, and administrators
- Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Ability to manage caseloads and adapt to dynamic school settings
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, observations, and evaluations for students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and intervention plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Facilitate small group or individual counseling sessions to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Consult with staff and families to recommend strategies that improve student outcomes and school climate
- Act as an advocate for student well-being and mental health within the school community
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services
