Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in Wisconsin (or eligibility for licensure)
- Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.), Master’s degree, or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Familiarity with the special education process, including evaluations, IEP development, and counseling
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and behavioral challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Provide recommendations and interventions to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
- Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives
- Collaborate with educators and families on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Deliver both individual and group counseling sessions
- Contribute to crisis intervention and behavioral consultation as needed
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school district and state guidelines
