Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Current licensure or eligibility to practice as a School Psychologist in Wisconsin
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, interpreting results, and recommending interventions
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and participate in multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological evaluations to assess intellectual, academic, social, and emotional development
- Interpret test results and prepare detailed, comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student learning and behavior
- Contribute to the development of educational and behavioral intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students individually or in groups
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and special education eligibility processes
- Support a positive school climate by offering guidance on behavioral management and mental health awareness
