Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience in administering academic, cognitive, and behavioral assessments
- Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and special education processes
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgement
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using standardized assessments and observations
- Interpret data and share results with families, teachers, and support staff
- Provide recommendations and strategies for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Serve as an active member of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams
- Offer short-term counseling or intervention services to students as needed
- Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and families to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Facilitate professional development sessions on mental health, behavior, and learning supports
