What we’re looking for:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong evaluation, counseling, and report-writing skills
- Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience in school settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments to identify students’ strengths and support needs
- Develop recommendations for interventions and instructional strategies
- Participate in student support teams, IEP, and 504 meetings
- Provide direct counseling for students individually and in small groups
- Offer crisis intervention and consultation with staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and outside professionals to support student success
- Help promote a positive school climate and culturally responsive practices
