School Psychologist in Lakeville, MN

This contract position focuses on supporting students’ learning, emotional well-being, and social engagement, with flexible part-time schedules available (either approximately 18 hours over 2.5 days or 25-26 hours across 3.5 days per week). One slot could expand into a full-time position in the future, based on district needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
- Valid Minnesota school psychologist license (PELSB)
- Skill in culturally responsive, equity-based practices and inclusive service delivery
- Experience in assessment, intervention, and mental health support within K-12 settings
- National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP), or eligibility, preferred
- Familiarity with MTSS frameworks, consultation, crisis intervention, and mental health resources
- Proficiency in special education law and compliance
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
- Proven leadership and facilitation skills, especially with diverse, urban populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and diagnostics to guide interventions and IEPs
- Deliver individual and group counseling, mental health support, and crisis response
- Consult with teachers, families, and administration to shape student interventions and supports
- Advocate for culturally sustaining, inclusive, and trauma-informed approaches
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to data-driven decision-making
- Provide professional development and collaborate across school sites
