What We’re Looking For:
- Active School Psychologist license for South Carolina
- Previous experience delivering evaluations within schools (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of assessment methods for a range of disabilities and learning differences
- Skill in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to clearly communicate findings with staff and families
- Passion for supporting children’s unique educational journeys
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform student evaluations and re-evaluations, ensuring compliance with state requirements
- Use the PSW model and other methods to determine Special Education eligibility
- Offer recommendations and collaborate on IEP and intervention planning
- Provide consultation services regarding student mental health, behavioral concerns, and learning difficulties
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation
