Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
- Experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling within an educational environment
- Familiarity with special education law and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, teachers, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive assessments to identify students’ learning needs, strengths, and challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions for academic, social, and emotional concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to develop and support IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide consultation, counseling, and crisis intervention to students and staff as needed
- Contribute to schoolwide initiatives supporting mental health and positive learning climates
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
