Make a difference supporting students from kindergarten through middle school as a vital contributor to a tight-knit school community. This contract position offers a dynamic blend of daily collaboration and impactful intervention, with the opportunity to work onsite at two neighboring schools serving grades K-8.
As a key member of both elementary and middle school teams, you’ll participate in essential processes such as individualized education planning, evaluations, and direct student support. Your expertise will help guide problem-solving strategies, contribute to Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams, and ensure each student's educational and emotional needs are met.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Licensed or certified School Psychologist
- Previous experience in K-8 educational settings strongly preferred
- Expertise with IEP evaluations, implementation, and ongoing student services
- Familiarity with student intervention frameworks and crisis response protocols
- Ability to work effectively onsite and integrate into multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive school communities
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Support implementation of student accommodations and behavioral interventions
- Serve as a resource for problem-solving, referral, and Student Intervention teams
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and administrators to address student needs
- Actively participate in or lead crisis intervention and safety planning teams
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
