Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Current credential or license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience performing psychological evaluations, developing IEPs, and providing related services
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with crisis intervention, problem-solving teams, and multi-tiered systems of support
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive school psychology services to meet the social, emotional, and academic needs of students
- Participate actively in Student Intervention Teams and Building Crisis Teams
- Conduct and interpret assessments for Individualized Education Program (IEP) evaluations and ongoing student support services
- Offer consultation and guidance to teachers, parents, and school personnel regarding student learning and mental health
- Help plan and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain clear confidentiality while managing documentation and reporting requirements
This assignment runs from July 30th to June 2nd, following a standard school schedule for a total of 37.5 hours each week. The position is based onsite, working alongside dedicated educators in a vibrant elementary school community.
