Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 populations, with an emphasis on students with significant disabilities.
- Familiarity and comfort with diverse assessment tools, including those for non-verbal communicators and AT devices.
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to varying caseloads.
- Willingness to travel between several school sites as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students with intense needs.
- Develop, interpret, and present results to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Partner with teachers, therapists, families, and administrators to create actionable recommendations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Flexibility in adapting to changing caseloads and site assignments within the district.
