School Psychologist in Lexington Park, MD

Qualifications:
- Hold a current Maryland School Psychology License
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience as a school psychologist preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, intervention planning, and counseling for K-12 students
- Exceptional communication, consultation, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments to identify educational, emotional, or behavioral needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement IEPs and intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Serve as a resource for teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning and mental health
- Support the development of positive behavioral interventions and school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district guidelines
