A rewarding contract opportunity is available for skilled School Psychologists passionate about supporting student success. Serving a diverse caseload, you will work full-time (37.5 hours per week) during the school year from August 6, 2026, to May 27, 2027. Multiple onsite and virtual roles are open to meet district needs.
What you’ll provide:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology (or related field)
- Minimum two years of experience as a school psychologist intern (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
- Current state certification as a School Psychologist
- Expertise in psychoeducational assessment, counseling, and intervention
- Strong collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, families, and outside agencies
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting psychological reports, individualized education plans (IEPs), and related documentation
- Comfort operating computers and standard office equipment
What you’ll do:
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations to support special education eligibility decisions
- Interpret evaluation data, prepare comprehensive written reports, and present findings to families and school teams
- Deliver individual and group mental health counseling services for students
- Participate on multidisciplinary teams and develop IEPs with input from families and educators
- Consult and collaborate with school personnel, administrators, and outside agencies to implement strategies for academic and social-emotional growth
- Coordinate and provide crisis intervention services
- Facilitate in-service sessions for teachers and parents
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and forms (including Medicaid reimbursement documentation)
- Stay current with evolving practices, legislative requirements, and professional standards
Physical and professional requirements include the ability to navigate school environments, lift up to 10 pounds occasionally, operate computers and telephones, and communicate effectively in both written and spoken formats.
