Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology required
  • State certification as a School Psychologist
  • At least two years of experience as a school psychologist intern or equivalent education/experience
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and preparing detailed reports
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to apply scientific and logical thinking when problem-solving and assessing students
  • Capable of managing crisis intervention and facilitating positive mental health in schools

Role Responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and summarize psychoeducational assessments to determine special education eligibility
  • Deliver individual and group counseling, supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health
  • Observe, evaluate, and analyze student behavior, academic records, and relevant background information
  • Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and external professionals to promote student well-being and success
  • Participate in developing and reviewing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Lead crisis management and intervention services at school and district levels
  • Maintain thorough documentation, complete Medicaid reimbursement forms, and prepare professional reports
  • Engage in in-service training for staff and parents
  • Keep current with professional best practices, legal standards, and school psychology innovations

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours weekly) for the 2026-2027 school year. Both on-site and two select virtual roles are available, each offering opportunities to serve diverse learners and strengthen school communities.
