Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Psychologist designation
- Experience as a School Psychologist in an educational or clinical setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, consultation, and case management
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct intervention and support services to students, utilizing best practices in school psychology
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer guidance on behavioral and academic interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Serve as a resource for mental health awareness and crisis response within the school community
You’ll have a consistent schedule, working 40 hours per week across five days, beginning August 2026 and extending through May 2027.
