School Psychologist - Littleton, Colorado
Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ mental health and academic success in the Denver area by providing comprehensive school psychological services across multiple school sites. This onsite, full-time contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year (July 31, 2026 - May 26, 2027), offering the chance to work with an age-diverse caseload from early childhood through high school, depending on assignment availability.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active CDE Special Service Provider license with a School Psychology endorsement (required)
- Previous school-based experience (required)
- Strong assessment, behavioral intervention, and crisis response skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, including families, educators, administration, and external partners
- Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with computer technology and digital systems
- Background check and fingerprinting required as part of credentialing
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct services to special education students through group and individual counseling based on IEP goals
- Conduct a variety of cognitive, behavioral, adaptive, and social/emotional assessments for IEPs
- Develop and implement interventions at individual, group, or systemic levels to address barriers to student success
- Provide crisis management, including suicide risk assessments and threat response
- Participate actively in IEP and team meetings, MTSS teams, and ongoing professional development
- Consult with teachers, families, and community partners to foster student well-being
- Prepare thorough documentation and progress reports for compliance and student planning
- Support general education students and staff with behavioral and social skills resources
