School Psychologist - Littleton, Colorado

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving school communities in the Denver area as a school psychologist, supporting students across age groups from early childhood through high school. Assignments are onsite only, with placement based on your expertise and available positions, and a 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a school psychologist within a school setting
- Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology required
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
- Comprehensive understanding of student cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive assessments
- Familiarity with IEP processes, development of behavioral intervention plans, and progress monitoring
- Strong computer proficiency for documentation and reporting
- Exceptional communication, crisis management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families
- Ability to work seamlessly with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Credentialing including background check and fingerprints with the district
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct individual and group counseling per IEP mental health goals
- Develop and implement system-wide interventions for academic and social/emotional needs
- Provide written service documentation, progress reports, and maintain service logs
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and create Educational Impact Statements
- Facilitate threat and suicide risk assessments, crisis management, and support both students and staff
- Consult with families, teachers, outside agencies, and participate in a range of collaborative meetings and professional development sessions
- Provide psychoeducation, academic/behavior consultation, and connect students and families to community resources
