Embrace a contract opportunity supporting students across multiple schools in the Denver area as a School Psychologist with a meaningful impact on all age groups, from early childhood through high school. This full-time, onsite position runs from July 31, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours, Monday through Friday. Assignments and caseloads are determined on a first-come, first-served basis and encompass a broad spectrum of student needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Colorado CDE Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting
  • Extensive student assessment experience and updated knowledge in school psychology practice
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Analytical approach to critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Effective crisis management skills and calm presence in high-stress situations
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Commitment to completing district-required background checks and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct individual and group counseling aligned with IEP mental health goals
  • Develop interventions supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional progress
  • Document service delivery, progress monitoring, and IEP goal advancement
  • Conduct crisis interventions and assessments, including suicide and threat assessments, and support safety planning
  • Complete cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and adaptive skill assessments; develop and interpret evaluation reports
  • Facilitate collaborative meetings and contribute to staff professional development
  • Provide consultation, resource coordination, and psychoeducation to students, families, and school personnel
