Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a ‘Professional Special Services License’ authorized by the Colorado Department of Education.
- Previous experience in school-based practice as a School Psychologist.
- Strong ability to communicate your experience and skills articulately in interviews; candidates will complete a two-stage interview including the SPED Coordinator and School Principal.
- For travelers, completed application for appropriate Colorado licensure is essential; willingness to research relocation, housing, and travel logistics encouraged.
- Known for a lively, positive, and energetic personality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct educational, social, and behavioral assessments.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized student plans.
- Provide supportive counseling and intervention services.
- Participate actively in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings.
- Promote a positive school climate and contribute fresh perspectives.
